Cade Bains joined SwimMAC Carolina in August 2025 asthe Senior 2 Lead Coach at the Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics(HFFA) site. He leads the training and development of high school-agedswimmers, designing practices that align with competitive goals whileemphasizing individual growth, accountability, and team culture. Cade iscommitted to helping each athlete understand how to approach training, racing,and long-term development with purpose and confidence.
Cade brings a diverse coaching background, includingleadership roles in Colorado and Arizona. He previously served as Head AgeGroup Coach at Pikes Peak Athletics, helping guide the program to top finishesat Age Group and Senior State while contributing to significant team growth andnational recognition. His experience also includes building a summer leagueinto a year-round USA Swimming program and directing a lesson program designedto support team development.
With academic foundations in exercise science andongoing studies in Strategic Leadership, Cade blends technical expertise withstrong communication and leadership skills. He believes in hard work,consistency, and coaching from the heart, striving to create an environmentwhere swimmers feel challenged, valued, and inspired to reach their fullpotential—both in the pool and beyond.
