Team Elite trains at multiple aquatic facilities in the Charlotte area to get accustomed to competing in a wide range of pool types and changing environments.

HUNTERSVILLE FAMILY FITNESS & AQUATICS CENTER

hffapool1The primary training facility on the northside of the Charlotte area is the Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics (HFFA), which houses state-of-the-art fitness, diving and aquatic facilities plus features an exciting variety of fitness and wellness programs. HFFA has hosted a number of national and internation aquatic competitions since the 88,000 square foot facility opened in 2001.

HFFA is the only public facility in the Southeast with an Olympic-sized, 50-meter by 25-yard competition pool and 10-meter dive tower, and the only to host aquatics events with up to 2,000 spectators for regional, national and world-class swim and dive competitions.

HFFA is conveniently located off interstate highway I-77 in North Mecklenburg at 11725 Verhoeff Road, Huntersville, NC, 28078. Click here for a video tour of HFFA from 2008.

CHARLOTTE LATIN POOL

latin poolThe primary training facility on the southside of the Charlotte area is the 50-meter by 25-yard indoor competition pool located on the beautiful campus the Charlotte Latin School, an independent K-12 school. Built in 1990, the natatorium is owned and operated by SwimMAC. Latin Pool is located off Providence Road at 9502 Providence Rd., Charlotte, NC 28277.

DAVIDSON COLLEGE POOL

davidson poolA secondary training facility in North Mecklenburg is located on the campus of Davidson College, an independent liberal arts college for 1,700 students.  Located at the Baker Sports Complex, the Charles A. Cannon Pool is an eight-lane pool with a movable bulkhead to accommodate competition in both yards and meters. Davidson College is located 20 minutes north of Charlotte in the quaint college town of Davidson along I-77.

MOSS CREEK POOL

moss creek poolThe outdoor training facility for the summer months is Moss Creek pool in Concord, NC on the northside of the Charlotte area.  Moss Creek features an eight-lane, 50 meter pool with a separate six-lane 25 yard pool located in a new development in the fast-growing city of Concord. Moss Creek Village is perfectly located on Hwy. 73 in beautiful Cabarrus County about midway between I-85 and I-77.
