Latin Bronze Service Project - Birthday Blessings...
On Friday, November 21, the Latin Bronze Group participated in a wonderful service project to benefit an organization called Birthday Blessings. Birthday Blessings is a non-profit organization bringing birthday joy and support to homeless children and their families. They operate on the belief that every child's life deserves to be celebrated, regardless of circumstance.
The Bronze swimmers gathered to put together approximately 50 goodie bags for these unfortunat
e children. Dawn Bonfilio (one of our team moms) gave the swimmers an overview of the Birthday Blessings organization and emphasized how lucky we are to be able to celebrate our birthdays each year and how much it will mean to each one of the homeless children to receive such a nice treat from other children.
