Latin Nova Holiday Wreaths

The Latin Nova swimmers did an AWESOME job selling Holiday wreaths and garland to raise money for Presbyterian Hospice and Palliative Care.  Presbyterian Hospice and Palliative Care have expressed their gratitude for our efforts and were very impressed with our order.  SwimMAC placed an order for 80 wreaths and garlands, which brought in over $ 2,000 for Hospice and their worthy cause.  Great job, Nova!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally, I can’t thank you enough for your participation.  This experience has had a positive impact on me and may impact the Nova swimmers for the rest of their lives.  For the first time in years, I am really excited about the upcoming holidays.  This was my mom’s favorite time of the year and my family and I have really struggled to make it through November and December, for the past few years.  We have always made our holidays special by helping others and the wreath and garland sales have truly lightened my heart.  I feel this community service is a great example of the SwimMAC mission statement and how SwimMAC wants to make every swimmer a champion in life.   It is a wonderful lesson on the value of giving and caring about others.

If you ordered a wreath and/or garland they will be available for pick up on Dec. 1^st and 2^nd, between 6:00-7:00pm, at the Latin campus.  To cap this wonderful effort off, Nova swimmers will past out wreaths and garland, sing Holiday Songs and sip hot chocolate.  We look forward to seeing you there.
