Be A Part Of Planning The Fun - Volunteer Chairs & Participation Opportunities Are Sought For Each Of The Following Committees (a great opportunity for new members and long time members to get involved in making a difference):
Hospitality Committee:
Acts as liaison on all plans with venue; selects caterer and menu; selects music; plans party keepsake. Prepares nametags prior to the event. Oversees event set up and greets guests upon arrival. Accountable for maintaining event feedback and suggestions for future events.
Casino Committee:
Selects most appropriate games for event from venue choices; attends certain non-venue roles at the event including the sale of additional fun money. Works with Auction Committee to procure casino prize baskets and facilitates sale of prize basket tickets when fun money is cashed in.
Auction Committee:
Accountable for the procurement and delivery of goods and services for live auction, silent auction and Casino Prize baskets. Creates and administers process for entire auction operation (live and silent) including creating item displays and creative packaging.
Check Out Committee:
Accountable for collection of auction payments night of event.
Event Sponsorship Committee:
Seeks limited event sponsorships and creates most appropriate means to acknowledge and publicize sponsors (i.e. nametags, backdrop for photos, photography or photography processing of party keepsake photos, wine for tables, etc.). Assist Auction Committee as needed in the procurement of live and silent auction items. Work done in cooperation with SwimMAC and Medalist Sponsorship Teams to preclude a conflict in sponsorship solicitation.
