Fast Swimming Outside in the Sun!

This past weekend, over 170 SwimMAC Nova, Bronze and Silver groupers swam in their first outdoor meet of the season in Hickory, NC. The 3rd Annual Bob Pratt Invitational, hosted by YSST was a great second long course meet of the season. There were many time drops from the Spring Splash meet, which is a fast improvement from just a month ago. 68 SwimMACers left Hickory achieving new time standards. Coming away with new 'A' times were Ikenna Eruchalu, Maddy Gillman, Caroline Hauder, Bella Jacoby, Alyssa Marsh, Alex McMurry, Cameron Miller, James Paque, Shelby Smith, Alexis Souther, and Hannah Wilder and swimmers achieving new 'AA' times were Riley Bond, Ikenna Eruchalu, Bella Jacoby, and Will Webb- great job everybody!
Coaches saw less disqualifications and it also looks like our swimmers are getting a hang of those long course backstroke flip turns- way to go! A huge thanks to all SwimMAC relay swimmers and also to Hagan Connell, Eva Hirschberg, Kate Marshall and Madison Tomshek who stepped up big time to help their teammates out when there was a missing relay swimmer.
